Staking WAS NOT A FEATURE.
In 2017-2018-2019 and half of 2020 zero planned for staking.

The normies like staking and it makes it more attractive investment.

Smartcontracts as a company play their cards close to their chest. Like any respectable company does.
All the staking hype comes from investors, not the team.
When they have a 100% solid solution then us plebs will get to know about it.
Why would they bother with staking right now anyway? The world isn't ready for it yet.
Instead the team are acquiring assets, hiring staff, working with Google, SWIFT, The WEF, Amazon and most of fintech across the board to make sure that they get it right first time and have the connections to pull it off.
Thats why I'm invested. You have to be a mong to invest in some teenage pajeet project that goes up overnight and promises the world.
We have so many new links to the chain coming out over the next few months.

LOL, at least you admit I'm right

I will say it again: not only is the Byzantine General's problem impossible to solve, but smart contracts don't even need an oracle layer. Smart contracts already exist and there are no legal or execution issues with any of them. Example being the trillions of auto-mated stock market trades made every day. Noever a single issue with one of them. Oracles aren't just useless, they're redundant

Thats the point of it.
If you think that WEF wrote a paper about link oracles and chainlink have teamed up with link for no reason though then faor enough.
I happen to believe that they are intelligent people whose time is very valuable though.

Food for thought: XRP & spark airdrop.
https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/what-is-spark-flr-and-the-flare-network
>This is what the Flare Network aims to solve by introducing support for smart contract capability for the XRP token.
>Flare Network is a distributed network that integrates the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
>Flare is a distributed network with some unique properties. It can be used to create two-way bridges between networks, such as Ethereum and the XRP Ledger. This means that it allows the XRP token to be used with smart contracts.

cryptos will never be used for anything in the real world, they're barely used for basic transactions outside of sending money to Andrew Anglin or buying drugs. the delirium you'd have to have to think this will ever change.

cryptos are utterly unregulated assets. why would anyone doing legit business in the real world use them. SERIOUSLY, this is proper question. Why would someone who didn't need to risk entering the crypto space actually do so? There is a reason that after more than 10 years Bitcoin still isnt being used

Because LINK is their pet project and data is the new gold. With access to our data they can keep manipulating society from behind the curtain, in this case under the guise of smartcontracts.

And then one day you find out that you made it but nothing changed in your life because you never had the courage to change what really mattered and tried to use money as an excuse to delay having to do something different and risky...
The adventure of life hasn't started yet, but it will come any day now that money isn't a problem, or that's what you will keep thinking.
