Hi /biz

I'm a 20 y/o student looking to invest some of my savings, and was thinking of maybe trying to get into crypto?

I'm a complete noob at this stuff, and don't have any real experience with investing, but crypto seems like a fairly accessible place to start, although I might be completely wrong.

I've just set up a Coinbase account, and don't really know where to go from here. Which cryptos should I be investing in? Can you tell if something is about to skyrocket, or is the entire thing a complete gamble? Let me in on your secrets.

As I said, I'm a complete beginner, so if possible can we keep specific techno/financial jargon to a minimum. Thanks lads.

I recommend the coin bureau channel on YouTube. Very accessible, high-quality info and the host is pretty funny too. Following his advice has helped me a lot. Check out his video “How to DYOR” (I.e. do your own research instead of relying to 4chan scammers)

awesome, thank you dude. Good point about the scammers - I imagine this board is flooded with people shilling various cryptos for their own gain

I would suggest moving into btc with 50 %, ethereum 30%, chainlink 10% and then you can gamble with 10%. Ethereum and btc are safe and you should just accumulate them slowly. You can buy eth now and try buy btc under 18k in next three weeks.

Scammers but also normies that believe in their coin and are starting threads daily to reassure themselves to keep holding shit.. for example xrp
