That seems to be a point of contention because I heard some "experts" say that the timeframe ultimately doesn't matter as long as the pattern's structure fits. Though I haven't done nearly enough research myself yet to come to a conclusion. Still, the lower the timeframe the bigger the chance that it's just market noise.

That's technically right, but the problem is that timeframe is relevant when considering how much / how long your prediction is valid for. Crypto prices generally go through dozens if not hundreds of movements each day, but if you're looking at the 1 minute chart and drawing conclusions, they're not going to be relevant for longer than a few minutes.
