Make a list of plays you would want to bet on.
Use .5 btc as your paper trades.
Use .1 btc to actually gamble on.
Trade both at the same time
Use something like blockfolio to compare the gains in percentage.
Try to double that .1 btc
If you fail and lose it all, learn why.
Build that .1 btc
Every time you double it, tap into another .1 btc of capital. Play with it, either double up on your winners or choose one from your .5 btc paper portfolio.
Never change your initial .5 paper portfolio
Only add to it, but never remove what you "sold" for a new coin
Keep a mental note (writing it down helps) of which hypothetical coin you sold for the other, but keep them to compare them.
Your real life stack is what you should experiment on. Never be afraid of losing it all.
