I'm all in this and terrified that the bullrun will happen
(It's coming, I just read the report from Mastercard, Visa, Citibank and Algorand)
but RLC will have turned out to be a meme and never see adoption.
That would be an absolute nightmare.
I have a chance to go into the new future wealthy, so many options to do so, but if I end up getting memed on by iExec and they never see adoption.. holy fuck I just can't imagine.
This shit is so stressful. Fuck.

Just sell your digital oil got
iExec RLC is the only crypto that requires adoption to moon, every other crypto is allowed to be speculated on, but RLC? Absolutely not

>> No.24772446

>>24772415
That's how it is though.
If this never sees adoption, its worthless.
If it does, it's digital oil.
And I have no idea which one it will be.

After bitcoin had its run all altcoins will have their pump. This includes Iexec. So you will probably atleast 3x from this. However, you should sell the pump as RLC will probably not see any real adoption. The FUD for RLC is legit.
If you want projects with real adoption go for chainlink and link related defi projects: Aave, Synthetix, AMPL. etc. Chainlink is the next step in crypto (we all kinda new that 3 years ago) and new valuable projects will come from the extra features that are now available due to chainlink.

TEEs were mentioned in the paper written by chainlink and the World Economic Forum... They cited hyperledger avalon in the paper, a project that iexec was a main contributor for.

Chainlink, if you ask them about off chain computing, they will point you in the direction of TownCrier, or TCF (Trusted computation Framework). IF you look into TCF, you will see that iexec is a part of that too.

iExec is something that needs true high level enterprise grade adoption to work. TEEs aren't for your average NEET desu. Off chain computation is more for enterprise.

I know hyperledger Avalon, TCF, EEA and all that stuff seems like old news, but they are still talking about stuff like Hyperledger Avalon in the WEF paper.

iExec is criminally undervalued.

>> No.24772625

>>24772523
All of this stuff is already priced in. Loser NEETs are the only ones that use that kind of stuff. Enterprise adoption is what is going to make stuff like iExec moon.

Why is there no specific information on the capabilities of the sidechain? Am I led to believe that the sidechain can handle the traffic that AWS, Google, Nvidia, would put on it? Lol that sounds impossible, there's no way

>> No.24772912

>>24772829
Offchain computing is different from a sidechain. The point of iexec is they have off chain computing. So if you have a smart contract that has intensive computations you want to keep private, you send those parts off chain, they get computed, and the result can go out into the contract.

it's bad fud.
I-Exec is blockchain agnostic, and already has a Parachain slot. It can switch and piggyback off a faster chain for settlements if needed.
Sidechain can already handle the same number of workloads AWS or Azure handle on a regular basis (also, he doesn't know hehe). Not to mention that it is currently developing into becoming a more flexible and scalable solution in comparison to currently existing dominate infrastructure. Like really nigga, do you seriously think the I-Exec devs are going to go into developing the project like "oh gee wiz we can use this new advancement in technology, and our 20+ year background in the field, to develop a system that's just as good as a system that already exists"

It doesn't have to happen on Ethereum man.
Ethereum is in their eyes currently the most optimal system to be using, and that makes sense anyway as it is the most popular. As soon as something else comes along that outpaces Ethereum, and takes the developer space away from Ethereum, i-exec will just switch.

>> No.24773052

the problem with iexec right now is that even setting up a computing task can be too expensive. once they have polkadot / cardano integration iexec can finally provide cheaper private computing then clouds.

eth fees fuck everything

The main problem is that Enterprise adoption for ethereum isn't here yet. It is being experimented with, but eventually, these corporations will want to do offchain computing, because they don't want all their data on chain, iExec has helped write the standards for this. We just have to wait a while for the adoption.
