I've been on /biz/ since antshares and entered crypto due to LINK, which I still hold now and believe it will bring many of us great fortune over next two years.

Anw, Y'all should seriously get into biotech companies. NVAX did more than 3000percent this year and there are many more that will do the same following years. Barrier of entry is much higher than techstocks since every pajeet and ivan is a sysadmin and can code now but not every one can read P values, understand proteine kinases, second messengers, safety data, efficacy, confidence intervals and so. Its def worth learning it tho.

As a Neuropsychopharmacology grad I'd have to disagree completely, unless you're defining "pretty effective" as "barely distinguishable from placebo". Conventional pharmaceutical treatments are going to be BTFO in the next two decades, anyone with a shred of integrity can already recognise that. They are archaic and at times, such as most all antipsychotics, downright barbaric. Traditional neurotransmitter models of mental disorder pathophysiology are fucking stupid, and thats a fact made apparent to any Neurosci undergrad today

I am researcher in physics with ADHD, I have read a lot before taking Ritalin, I understand the basics of how neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin, acetylcholine etc), receptors, recapture and MAO works.

What models are you guys talking about? Give me some reading materials.

Now a days I don't take Ritalin anymore, I am taking a mixture of vitamins, herbs and with SAME and Coenzyme Q10, I also smoke pipe tabbaco once a week. Do you guys have suggestions for making my productivity better? I am using pomodoro method and taking 30min naps when I am fucked up tired.

BDNF even though it looks like it provides answers to much of depression-associated and depression-elating phenomena is probably only one (even tho probably p. important) molecule in whole depression picture. (same as with endophenotypes, neurosteroids etc.) Novel psychiatric and neuroscience research is exciting field

Took that test with 120 questions scored like 110 or something, when to a psychiatrist he was reluctant at first, and said he was not sure about my diagnostic, that it was unusual someone with ADHD have such high-scores at the university entry exam (I got like in the 15 first of the entry exam, out of more than 5000 people applying). He sent me to a psychologist, the psychologist diagnosed me with ADHD. I am really talkative and I can't stay quiet most of the times, I am have high scores in math and science in general because I am really passionated about it, I really like those things, but I am unable to learn things like grammatics, I learn them and latter forget, because I don't care about it. I also had a real hard time learning linear algebra at university, it look so boring and silly (I do not hold that opinion anymore, quantum mechanics needs that and it is really fun).

Btw, my opinion in regards to the future of psychiatric medicine is that we will develop new gut flora bacteria that will cure all of your mental diseases. We just started to understand what is the influence of your gut flora in our mental states, with machine learning technics, in the coming years we will be able to catalog bacteria that produce certain mental estates that will probably happen in the next 10 year maximum, people will also start to do gene editing at those bacterias with CRISPR (that will probably happen in the next 30 years from now), in the long run we will have created the perfect bacterias to control our mental states, we will also have bacterias that eat viruses and other harmful bacteria, maybe we will also have things like "super soldiers" and humans made to be "smarter" happening, the start of things as strange as blade runners movie.
