I had it in well before the time of the snapshot. Only I checked their twitter just before and they were saying they were closing deposits for XRP 10 hours before the snapshot then later they tweeted they will keep it open as long as possible. I deposited an hour before snapshot and it was all confirmed. I'll have to wait and see I suppose but I think i'll be fine.

Considering there's no way to actually view the flare chain right now, yes. It's not on the ethereum chain, you won't see it as an erc-20 or anything like that.
