CLF - this is a good stock for people that just downloaded the Robinhood app and now they think they are expert stock traders. Most Robinhood people only buy affordable cheap stocks like this because they can't afford the big boy stocks like amazon, tesla, apple, etc. Robinhood is a great platform for uneducated people who never graduated college. Having a few shares on robinhood app gives them great satisfaction and makes them feel very important in life. They brag about it at family

17b revenue pro forma.. 5.5b mkt cap.. and you are wondering why this shit won't go to 50?

https://seekingalpha.com/news/3642967-cleveland-cliffs-closes-deal-for-arcelormittal-usa

Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF -0.4%) says it has completed the acquisition of all operations of ArcelorMittal USA (MT -0.3%) and its subsidiaries, forming the largest flat-rolled steel producer in North America.

On a FY 2019 basis, the combined Company generated ~$17B in pro-forma revenues and $1.7B in combined adjusted EBITDA, including expected synergies.

The deal includes ArcelorMittal USA's 60% interest in I/N Tek LP and 50% interest in I/N Kote LP, and Nippon Steel's respective remaining 50% and 40% stakes in I/N Kote and I/N Tek.

Depends entirely on their valuation and offering. Boomers may not have as much interest as well - a lot could be taking profits ready for the new year. Airbnb is also a very well-established brand to the extent that it's become a normal noun, Roblox isn't as well-known.
Regardless you can still pretty much guarantee the valuation and offering will probably be revised upward and the institutions will force the public to buy at higher price. Just depends how much higher.

Another factor to consider is that immigration taking lower skilled jobs for lower pay prices out American/British workers. Can imagine the labour markets right now are totally fucked.
Definitely an opportunity to figure out what will be desirable in Covid recovery era and reskill if you were in a declining industry before it though.

The valuation started at $44-50.
Then it was revised up to $68.
Then (((they))) bought it and raised its price to $146.
Retail was allowed to buy it at approx. 3x its initial valuation and slightly over 2x its revised valuation.
Bear in mind that these valuations are based on deep analysis by the company on how they expect to grow and perform. So essentially the retail market today were buying ABNB for twice what the company itself values itself at, and has doubled its market cap. It's ridiculous.
I don't remember how it compares to other IPOs, the closest thing I paid attention to was PLTR which was similarly generous in its market offering and price from initial valuation but nowhere near as bad.
IPOs are a scam to allow the institutions to take profit and dump bags and risk onto retail hype trains.
