TVL is so extremely high because Idle is being distributed to those with locked liquidity. So the higher the price gets, the more TVL will go up. But it's not a mutual thing. There is nothing driving up the price of Idle except hype. Which is coincidentally, hype about the TVL.
See how unsustainable that is? Hence it can't hold 12 or even 11 dollars. Too many people have figured it out.
Also, that distribution of Idle to early LP's ends soon, so they'll dump it straight into the supply and all over your face.
