Sergey has control of 600m+ LINK.
If he lets the price go up too quickly, (((they))) will notice and shut him down.
At $300 LINK he'd be the richest in the world.
He has to allow the price to slowly rise as he sells or they will find a way to stranglehold him.

nah money doesn't buy you ultimate power so it doesn't matter how many numbers he accumulates they (the ones we know about) are still the gatekeepers

>Sergey has control of 600m+ LINK.
about half of that 300m link belongs to corporates to run their own nodes.
remaining ammount is for chainlink to continue development.
imagine when Sergey decides to change Link to dao and contribute all excess link to dao vault. its coming with v2 whitepaper.

at that point the price increase wouldnt matter since sergey wouldnt be holding the link directly but indirectly (thru dev wallets (dev wallets have biggest share) for dao

>sergey controls an unrestricted 2/3rds and is a billionaire funding "chainlink development" when chainlink hasnt developed shit in years
Also, please show me where you found that 150million link are with "corporations" to "run nodes." Because no such thing is happening

350 million LINK is for the nodes and infrastructure, stated in the whitepaper.

this is unironically correct and pretty bearish. Thankfully he isn't a clown so he might be able to navigate that

Why are they hiring so many people if they're becoming a dao? That's not how daos operate anon. Also would require Chainlink admitting that they are centralized which won't happen

>link DAO
i really like that idea. Am I the only one still not 100% convinced on the long term viability of DAO's? Over time, the governance and participation seems to dwindle. That being said, the self-sustaining ecosystem propelled by balanced incentivization which Sergey has laid out in the past would match well with a dao. then again, a dao is used for future governance votes and changes in protocol or incentives, and if corporations hold approx 30% of link in their nodes, it is possible they could collude on voting and skew incentives in their favor. however, thanks to bizlets holding an equal 30% :))) we would have votes equal to corporations. i'm sure Serg has thought about this ad nauseum. can't wait to see that whitepaper!
