is MEW still good? There are two options for creating a wallet the:

1, By keystore file
2, By mnemonic phrase

Both not recommended by their site.

I am gonna use a laptop that have Linux installed and no other wierd apps, cracked games or anything like that.

When i made my old eth wallet using mew i got both a private key and a keystore file, but when trying to make one now only gives me the file?
