Due to the $AMPL drop and fear and fud today I’m starting a series exploring and discussing some of the largest $AMPL whales, looking at their wallets, explaining what they are doing (often accumulating, sometimes trading, sometimes getting it WRONG). Why? Look to what the largest in the space are doing, they’re often going against the crowd, often contrarian, and often 90% of the money flows to 10% of the people, often these people..2. Follow the whales/$$$.

Note he also has 1300 $ETH remaining in this wallet ($750k)

Speculation: This isn't this guys first rodeo. He buys in slices, doesn't get it perfect, but he accumulate over time. He isn't looking to day trade and exit for a small gain (he already had it, but it eroded now). He will feel some stress today, but not panic. At this level the risk/pressure/stress is different.

I'm betting he will average heavier. It will be painful, but he will know he needs to, and knows that rationally nothing has changed, there is no problem with $AMPL, the market just grew too fast and has corrected. He will recognise the fear and confusion in the market and continue buying. I bet we see more AMPL purchases from this New Kid Whale. I’ll update this thread if/when we do or whatever his move is.

As a larger buyer / whale you just dont really play the +5-30% ranges so much, you just buy within a larger range and accumulate over a longer period - you play long, more like a vc / fund shot, you sit back in a comfy chair and read projects extensively, for weeks, months, devour a ton of information and start buying either flat charts, or if you think something is seriously underpriced. Youre seeing an example of this of a larger whale in a larger market. Hes not looking for 10-30% gains, he had them, hes looking for 5-100x.
