no, just because the price is pegged at crypto mcap (base) or btcd (xbtc) doesnt mean youll make money if crypto mcap raises or btcd declines. its irrelevant. it could be pegged to anything and youll make money after both positive and negative rebases. that is, until people realize the scam and the market goes to shit as everyone sells.

ampl is legit because its peg is tied to a UNIT OF VALUE, not an index. this makes it a relatively stable currency.
