the difference is the incentive model. CZ won't get penalised for making the "wrong" decision if he votes to fuck over uniswap. If he bought all the PNK tokens, he would (over time) lose his stack to other jurors. And in the samson scenario, where he really did buy most of the tokens, you'd just fork PNK and delele cz's tokens, like how Hive forked from Steem and deleted Justin Tron's tokens.

But you'd probably never need to fork PNK - the possibility alone would be enough to deter people from trying that option. And remember, you'd need about 200 million dollars to buy 51% of tokens, because the more you buy, the more the price goes up. Anybody trying to game the system would lose a *lot* of money, and PNK holders would make a shitton from selling to that person. Then they'd just go start PNK2.0.

Linguo could be huge IF the Linguo and Kleros people don't get a huge stick up their ass about copyright and they allow scanlation activities. For the record, it's not illegal to hire a translator to translate copyrighted material for personal use, it's when the translation starts getting distributed without rightsholder approval that it becomes a civil issue. Theoretically, under international copyright law, there should be no problem with getting manga translation done on Linguo except that results become public once they're written to the blockchain.

On the other hand, I still have my reservations about the Linguo set up anyway. If I were hiring a translator, I'd just use a smartcontract with a Kleros clause and hire someone with a good track record. It's very easy to get a good reputation in translation, so a trustless set up like Linguo is going to have a hard time attracting and retaining quality translators.

I'm more concerned about what a huge price increase would do to staking requirements for courts. $10 PNK means that even a general stake is $5000 for 500PNK courts. That's A LOT to invest into the PNK system. I hope there's plans to adjust the staking requirements as PNK price rises.
