While it's true that Jobs never invented anything himself, neither did Woz. That's not to say Woz wasn't a great circuit designer and wasn't crucial to Apple's early success, but he didn't invent anything new, he just assembled good computer boards. Ultimately Jobs was more important at growing the company because he could sell you the shirt on your own back and make you thank him for the opportunity.
