I am an autist that's trying to open a food trailer. Alibaba sells really cheap ones but I cannot confirm their quality. Googling it leads me to leddit where s0iboys are basically saying "just stick with what works goy and buy a trailer from shekelstein for $10k+"
tl;dr: how can I buy a $4k food trailer without getting ripped off by chinks?

Don't be cheap. It will be very expensive to renovate or repair a piece of shit trailer. It's a really competitive and stressful business as it is, the margins are shit. Last thing you want is to stress over your cheap shitty trailer breaking down or falling apart

10K for a trailer is dirt cheap if it includes high quality appliances. You shouldn't really look at price but at the value you are getting.

I'd rather buy a good trailer that cost 40K new for 10K than a a rundown trailer for 4K that will cost thousands to repair and was worth 15K originally.

You basically need to look through the lens of a customer and offer them the most value possible even if it means a higher initial cash outlay. Of course you don't want to pay retail prices.

I also should mention it's a relatively new business here: the fees that I have to pay the government are basically nothing (less than $500)
I currently have around ~$4k in cash, so I wouldn't even need to get a loan for the chink trailer. And if I shit the bed and the business fails I could always sell it (or sleep in it if I become homeless kek)

The ones displayed in this video are the cheapest ones in alibaba; they cost around $1.5k. If I ever buy one I am gonna get a slightly better one, making it cost around 4k with shipping.
