yeah, this used to be a hang up on a lot of projects for me. literally missed link b/c of that mongoloid argument. i've come to realize the fact is in the new economy tokens are going to become a hybrid of ownership rights, voting rights, and probably be used to offer much other utility my pea brain just can't quite fathom yet. so while tokens for a given project may not be "needed" at the very basic level - they will justify their value in other ways, and likely also be driven by the utility and value they are designed to contribute to an ecosystem (as has already been witnessed many times).
