explain like I'm retarded because I am; what does the coin actually do? does it offer any technical solution or just another altcoin?

It's a decentralized justice protocol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuSps_2wMQ4

Can someone explain to me why they think this will catch on? It sounds good overall, but can never see people actually using this. People who need it would be poor, so how would they know about a decentralized justice protocol??

In many cases they wouldn't need to seek it out themselves, it will just be integrated into something they're using.

It's a shitcoin but it's 1000000x more legit than what is shilled here every fucking day.

1. Has a working platform and multiple projects
2. Won awards.
3. Funded

It's supposed to be for resolving disputes. There is a dispute you go to kleros court it picks jurors at random (they stake their coins to get selected) and if they vote with majority they win the coins of those that didn't vote with the majority but not all the coins just like 5% or some shit. There is a bunch of different use cases already implemented.

Right now this shit is pretty useless desu but if it gets mass adoption and if it fits a puzzle and the stars align it will become a fundamental pillar of crypto and maybe even expand its use cases to real world in some scenarios.

But like with all the other altcoins it's just a gamble so gamble at your own risk. Only invest if you believe in the project, this is the kind of project that will pump not because some shills on .biz say so but because it will gain adoption.

I see that makes more sense. So like a freelancer platform would use built in kleros contracts which automatically resolves disputes.
