After being way up in 2017 and holding altcoins through the entire doldrums since, my portfolio has finally turned green.

Yes, I'm well aware. However, watching your holdings dwindle from $600k down to $9k (yes, really) sort of makes salty on the whole concept. When BTC was around $6k, I purchased more altcoins with my BTC, thinking I was DCA'ing in, as the alts had lost significant market share against BTC. Shitty that they only further lost more.

I'm well aware of how blockchain works, but thought the space would be more mature (i.e less speculation and more grounded in the tech) than it was. Either way, I'm positive again. But thinking about how if I instead bought LINK, I'd be a multi-millionaire keeps me up at night.

I took my profits around crypto christmas and rebuilt my portfolio in the bear market.
