Dai, RSR, Tetherfags, thank you for your service.

They have been illegal since day one. Why do you think Tether has to have some sort of mirage of shell companies maintaining bank accounts in weird jurisdictions?

This, and it won't stop with stablecoins, it's just the beginning. Guarantee you crypto is regulated to oblivion. If we're lucky enough to get a bullrun this year it's going to be the last one.

I think Americans are machoistic, they literally love nothing more than fucking things up for themselves. their orange chimp president is hilarious to listen to and I want to drink a beer with him, but he's fucked the US' economy and world power ranking than anything else in US history except maybe the Civil War

>> No.24627729

Maybe this is a brainlet argument but how could they make owning a stable coin illegal in the US? To "own" it, it is just knowing a password. Wouldn't that be protected by freedom of speech/thought?

It will tank the value of the coin and you'll see smart investors rush into crypto that get fed approval.

I've analyzed the top 100 mkt cap coins based on total tether flow effects on price, Decred had the lowest correlation with USDT
If you want to be safe make sure whatever coin you buy has at least 30% of its spot volume from BTC pair, that should put you in the best postion for a tether crash
For all the tether believers, last time not only did they lie but most of their assets were not even liquid and being exaggerated. They shilled you Leo to get out of the hole
Better way to think of it, if everyone wanted to cash their tethers for 1 real USD rn, the whole system would collapse

Any country that attempts to utilize a non approved American financial system either gets destabilized by our CIA assets or we begin to hammer them with tariffs and other forms of economic warfare.

It’s like a company is giving out banknotes/checks with the promise they can be redeemed for a $1 without being FDIC insured. Tether and USDC do this through digital means. I think it’s unfair that DAI and other non backed tokens are targeted by this. USDT introduces massive systematic risk to the ecosystem so it’s understandable

The only reason why they wanna regulate crypto is because of countries under sanctions started crypto mining such as Ecuador.

>If you read the thing its literally "divetsity."
I shit you not. This is really jumping the shark imho. they basically want money from the big i banks. Biden comes from dellaware and constantly has access to big bank sponsorship. There is no real reason. Just to get money from banks. The bill likely will not even make it past the house. Rashida Talib probably can't get her own party to back it. They take advantage of the fact that people have no idea what this is, and everybody is against racism. Read into the types of trusts required and its all pretry kosher. Paxos is audited pretty well. Usdc as well. Usdt is not imho, but peoppe kbow that. And it is audited well enough... they hate the free market and the fact that I can get a better savings account on compound than a bank. They hate the fact that this makes divirsity laws harder because the compound or AAVE does not give a fuck what color your skin is. They can't check. Look at who sponsors the bill...... what a load of shit.
