In a few years every single person/product using chainlink will be market buying chainlink on a consistent basis because all of the nodes have to be paid in LINK.
Whether they stockpile, marketbuy at the time of use.. it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, people using chainlink will have to be sending LINK tokens to nodes.
>over 300 paying customers today already
>major integrations (baseline protocol, Oracle blockchain) still not in production
>hundreds more paying customers to come over the next few years
We are going to be so unbelievably wealthy from this shit frens

Hello Fren, what year will we make it and I can stop wageslaving. I’m that close to kms. t.3000 linklet

It'll be too expensive unless Sergey can get the link price down to $2-3 again.
If not the cost will drive other solutions which are already slowly starting to appear.

honestly, 3 years is my conservative guess. To be truly free financially with 3k LINKies you will need 3 years.
I could be wrong and this next bull run goes crazy and people get extremely speculative, but you will be free soon.

im feeling nice tonight and i'll spoonfeed because this seems like someone who actually is confused about what chainlink is.

no other solution can ever be cheaper than chainlink. because chainlink is essentially an Oracle marketplace, using chainlinks tech stack.
if any other solution were to become "cheaper" the nodes can just lower their price to be competitive, and they will. thats how markets work.

transaction gas fees will eventually become negligible as time goes on, which will leave the entire burden of the transaction on the amount of LINK tokens required.
which can be dynamic based on the price of chainlink vs USD

of course this is a very nuanced topic that i oversimplified greatly.
the security and reliability of nodes using chainlinks solution can be greater than competition, and allow nodes to charge equal to or even more than other oracle solutions.

because with chainlink, you're getting an aggregation of aggregations when you query their nodes.
using other oracle solutions you may not be pulling data from dozens or literally hundreds of sources in some cases.

Iv thought about this since my accidental steady investment into Chainlink and i feel that THIS year is the near point of singularity. Iv yet to know the true meaning of it but with the pandemic here and more big-dicks into online endeavors, crypto and soon Chainlink will be the ones in the spotlight.
As i grow obsessive I start to feel that this cube will probably be the single greatest investment I will ever see in my entire life. All because of a funny meme.

there will be steady supply of buying pressure from users, but then there would also be steady selling pressure from nodes
