I don’t have any debt but strongly considering taking out a 5 year loan to buy a bitcoin. Am I retarded?
>10k in crypto
>mostly ETH

There’s no way this could backfire

yes

>> No.24593273

Yes you are a massive fucktard if you put any money that you don't own on a market that could get shafted by legislation or any other billions possible fuds. Invest what you can lose or get fucked.

>>24593245
Are you being sarcastic? It’s only around $300ish dollars a month for 5 years it doesn’t seem that bad

>> No.24593296

>>24593213
No you aren't retarded. This is literally how people get rich. Keep in mind that a loan is dependent on your ability to make income to pay it off. Do you have a stable job and good prospects?

>>24593296
Yeah I work a trade job

>> No.24593348

Btw you will hear from a lot of pussies on here saying no. Take the decision into your own hands.

>>24593279
dude it would be a good move when bitcoin was price was low
like in 2018-2019 or march this year
hell, even september
but not after everything already pumped this hard, at this point it's not investment, it's gambling
you buy when there's blood in the streets not after ETH already did x6 - this is especially true with borrowed money

>>24593379
Yea I wasn’t thinking to do it now, I was gonna wait for the market to crash, which it seems like we’re due for- I don’t see the golden bullrun happening this time around

>> No.24593423

I'd DCA over the next year. If it pumps to 100k+ you'll still make a shitload and if it dumps to 10k you can scoop up the cheapies. Usually I consider DCA to be the pussy option but if you don't have the initial capital I wouldn't take a loan.

>> No.24593486

>>24593213
I already did this. Good luck op

>> No.24593494

My advice would be that if you made your decision, have your loan ready to go, or have it already approved and the cash sitting in your account waiting for a dip/correction. Yeah you will pay some interest for holding cash, but you will be able to buy really quickly on any sharp dips and not have to wait a few days/a week to get the money

I did this and I’m up $200k. Call me stupid all you want but I could afford the payments and I was comfortable with the risk.

Most payday lenders do not run a credit check at all. This is helpful for those who have poor credit. Typically, all you need to qualify for a payday loan is a bank account, proof of income, and government issued identification.
