The pandemic plus just saying yes when people invite me out has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I was going to neck after I blew through 220k in 4 years but I said yes to a random party invite and became friends with new people, which lead to an interesting job in a new town, my own place, great coworkers and bosses, and even more friends.

Yeh I come on here and talk to frens about being sad. It's all good bud. We all hit bumps in the road like this. I've gone through periods of having no friends. Almost 30 and I can count my friends right now on one hand and even then I barely see them.
Even just having one friend is attainable and realistic. If you let your mind get into a negative cycle then it will make you think you're unlikeable. It's really not that. You're probably just stuck in that mental trap.
I though talking to people online in a chat room is one way to get better at socialising with people if that's what you think you could improve on. Loads of weirds and muslims I met but was good practice kek.
Just focus on yourself for now, and the fren part comes later.

I'm exactly the same way
I even know I'm not a total autist or sperg, people actually liked to hang out with me last year when I chose to be friendly with my coworkers
But every time I let it gradually drop off by not hanging out enough and not knowing what to say in conversation because of my social anxiety and lack of conscientiousness to follow through and do anything

Last year I learned that alcohol worked to cure that and I was like I was back in high school, sociable and fun, but then I used it too much as a crutch and now I'm quitting it, luckily I'm not addicted

I thought, like a doomer retard, that it was too hard making friends at 23 but all you need to do is buddy up with one guy at your workplace, and then you don't have to even be friends per se with them before you invite people out to the bar and make more friends
It gets the serotonin ball rolling and feeds on itself

I feel like we all would get along fairly well, this board attracts a certain personality type
