There is no great reset. Society has always had castes, and that isn't going to change any time soon

In some places it is easier to move up and down this pyramid than others, but that doesn't stop it from existing. Communism is not an attempt to destroy capitalism, it is an attempt to stop the growth and development of all social pyramids. It never works, don't know if it ever will. However I personally have serious doubts that it ever could to begin with.

Most men are born into the world of peasantry. You either learn to remain that way, or get to climbing the pyramid. There's just one problem you have to overcome. You have to sell your soul and fellow man. I don't think it's possible to achieve wealth without extracting labor from others to some extent.

Are there really any differences that aren't superficial between a feudal Lord ruling over 3000 acres and 30 serfs and McDonalds franchisee with 30 employees?
