I'm starting to practice Options trading on TD Ameritrade using Paper money. My Father has been doing this for awhile and told me I can easily start off making $100 a day trading options. I'm currently fucking around with the desktop app for TD Ameritrade and fucked with Apple options for a few minutes, bought in at $2.50 and sold for $2.53, so I hypothetically made money.
This shit feels so foreign to me. Are there any companies in particular I should be looking at? Considering that I'll be playing with $1000 or less and the Apple option cost me $2500 of monopoly money I don't think chasing apple will work.
Any advice on how to do this would be cool, just trying to figure out the interface for the desktop app feels like learning to move a third arm.
