It was a scam, Mario started talking about his project in an Italian group claiming that he wasn't going to sell tokens because he wasn't looking for money.
Then he left the group and started promoting his newly created tokens -and the Uniswap LP- as something innovative and revolutionary, of course, the community was expected to develop the coolest modules of his "ecosystem".
Seeing that the volume was low they forced a token swap, practically fucking everyone who didn't swap in a few days in the ass since the old tokens conversion rate had been made to decrease exponentially and almost at the same time a lock up campaign with hyperinflationary rewards started, this was probably done to artificially reduce the circulating supply.
