Newmont market cap = 100x larger than that of NAK, and Newmont will probably double or triple + give dividends over the course of this PM bull market, so NAK has 300x potential at least. The management deeply believe in the company, and didn't sell a single share even when the price went to $20. LIDAR is unnecessary, Tesla vehicles don't even use it yet they are able to build 3D maps of everything around the car and use them to predict events long before they happen. In other EVs it's mostly being used for localizing the vehicle instead of vision which is a waste and it isn't useful if the car can actually drive itself instead of driving a route set on a map where you need high precision or else you're going to crash into shit. Over time it LIDAR get much cheaper and their won't be that large of a profit margin on them.

LIDAR stocks have been pumping but they're never going to be hyped as much as EVs or batteries. At 2.5 billion in market cap and no profit it's hard to envision getting more than a few X return out of it, at best.
