Are you dumb? All the inflation is going to asset prices, in the west at least.

Even if the money supply 10x'd tomorrow do you really think boomers will go out and by 10 TV's or 10x the pizza or food? No they would buy assets that let them not work.

Look at Japan, they have been printing non stop since 1980 and they cannot generate inflation because their population is old and dying.

And consumer prices where I am have barely budged.

When I was a kid 2 L of milk was $2 now it is $2.20 This is because milk isn't a asset that lets you generate passive income.
