If I'm starting to put money now in bitcoin I won't have a chance to make a lot of money right? but will I at least be able to protect my money from inflation?

No one knows what Bitcoin is doing. I think it's going to do very well in the next year but most of us are overinvested in meme coins so we have a bias

You can still make a lot of money, just not quite as much as some alts will. Some alts will also fail.

Bitcoin should do a great job fighting inflation with an upside to it.

yes

only x10 from here with bitcoin

Bitcoin is still in its speculative price discovery phase. So expect a couple more bubbles, then we should settle in the $500k-$1 million range, roughly similar to gold’s market cap. Then it becomes a more stable inflation hedge

You legitimately think BTC will go this high? Not trying to FUD, generally curious. I have a small bit but have no idea where it could be in the coming years.

The prices you mention seem crazy optimistic though to me

Don't buy the top pls
It will be below 10k someday again

I remember reading bitcointalk.org posts in 2012ish about how "bitcoin could one day be 10k, even 100k". You might remember these posts in the same way.

Very slim chance of this happening.
You should just DCA, buy a relatively small amount at a time each month or week.

only total brainlets and newfags think this stops at 19k because "it's december 2017 again"... Everything about this looks like late 2016 / early 2017.

If you think about it, there's REALLY not a lot if Bitcoins. There will be 21 million one day and 4 million are thought to be lost. More still will be lost. Let's say there will be 17 million for the whole world to share. Crazy scarcity really.

10x with a 10x leverage is a 100x tho
ladder in to the long, have a stop loss always in profit
you literally can't lose.

I doubt scarcity will actually affect crypto. Some nerd is gonna make BitCents (c) which are tied to the value of 0.00001 BTC

btw bitcoins annual average return is +360% i only used +150% on those numbers assuming btc slows down as it grows.

Anyone can make a crypto coin so it expands the pool of available cryptocurrencies. Yes, there will only be a finite number of Bitcoins, but there are other crypto coins, some of which have unlimited coins.

The narrative is unironically "digital gold". If we have a flippening with gold thats a 30x, but there's potential for it to go even higher.

Not saying it will happen for sure, but that's the speculation.

Anyone can make a new coin but no one can replicate the hash power and security of btc network. so yeah you could buy the new cuckcoin of the week but you're tossing your wealth down a hole with no security whatsoever.

how buy bitcorns without jews at cuckbase needing my identity? I don't want them to know who I am when I buy bitcorns. What do I use to buy bitcorns with dollars

cryptocurrency marketcap is around U$560billion right now.. that's an insignigicant amount of money compared to the entire global wealth... a lot of the bigger hedge funds manage more than that

there's still A LOT of money to be made in crypto... market cap could 10x and we'd still be a below average size market compared to traditional stock markets
