Its likely a combination of the reasons (and some more we dont know about).
I think they really want to somewhat stabilize the price because staking is going to be released this month and a huge spike in price would not help to onboard nodes, dApps.
Also you can't have enough cash as a sme so its understandable that they are selling link. All in all its bullish long term.
