Litecoin is on Coinbase. Any normie that I know of using bitcoin (ie college students as I live in a college town) are using coinbase as their "bank" because "it's professional and safe from hackers'.

What three coins are on coinbase? Bit, Eth, Lite. The biggest player in the market determines what's to be used. No different than world oil or metal markets.

What gets used? USD, sometimes Euro, sometimes Chink Dollars. Everyone else gets fucked; still useful here and there, but not a big player.
