I'm just in thinning phase right now, using Minoxidil but long term is expensive and a temporary solution.
Do all those stuff like massaging the scalp to increase blood flow work?

And yes, I could shave my head but it's definitely too soon and I would be uglier than usual bald.

Minoxidil is dangerous bc if you stop using it, and it’s easy to accidentally skip a day or so due to life...you lose all your progress and it falls out faster, looking worse.

Stick to finasteride (5mg tabs are cheapest, cut them in half and take half daily) to prevent loss of existing hair.

Buy a really good clinical grade laser diode cap 270+ diode. 5-10 mins a day with a laser cap reverses miniaturization of the hair follicles.

Finasteride is about $40 for 90 5mg pills.

Laser cap is $750-$1500 for one worth getting.

Hi anon, let me tell you a quick story. Ok so basically throughout my life I had thick curly Afro like hair and I could style it some thing like marcus rashford hair. Never have I imagined shaving it. I am fit and play football a lot so yeah high school and college was fun. Then the shittiest thing happened. In my final year of college, my temples started receding rapidly and there was very noticeable hair loss at the top of my head, the crown. JESUS CHRIST I START LOOKING LIKE ALBERT FUCKING EINSTEIN. I tried to grow my hair longer because I thought if it’s curly, it could cover up my balding crown. I STARTED COMBING THE SIDES OF MY HAIR UPWARDS TRYING TO OVERLAP AND COVER MY THINNING CROWN. Damn I must have looked like an asshat. Mind you OP I was only 23 at that time. My confidence shattered. It was like bitcoin crashing from 20k to 3k that was how it felt like OP. Every single shred of confidence I had was all gone. I tried minoxidil, coconut oil, started watching YouTube and read forums and search online on how to regrow my hair, spent over 1 btc on fking retarded products and it all did not work out. For fucks sake I even did head stands, because some online bull shit told me that the top of my head did not have enough blood circulation, hence the hair loss. The only thing I have not tried is hair transplant. Eventually, a year ago I bite the bullet and shaved it all to a number 1. Went to the beach in the middle of the night and scream my hearts out. But the midnight breeze blowing on my head eventually calmed me down. Not gonna lie, since that day I’ve been trying my best to rebuild my confidence back. im gonna repeat my advice because i see so much fucking bullshit here and everywhere. i was suicidal because of my hair loss and nowadays ive completely fixed the problem, i never actually believed i would ever have hair again the way i have now.

the solution for hair loss is VERY SIMPLE, its easy, it's not a lot of work and is very straightforward.

fuck lasers, microneedling or whatever the fuck, those are scams trying to make money from people with hair loss.

THE BEST SOLUTION AS OF 2020 IS:
- if you want to KEEP the hair you have right now FOREVER - finasteride - if you cut 5mg pills in 4 or 5 pieces you will never lose hair again and it's EXTREMELY cheap, you will never lose hair again. all you have to do is take a small pill every night, that's it. 95% of people or more have practically zero side effects, there's a lot of dumb fearmongering out there.

IF YOU WANT TO RECOVER HAIR YOU LOST - save up for hair transplant - a large hair transplant form a top surgeon in blagium or canada is about 20k dollars. you might need 1 or 2 hair transplants depending on the state of your hair loss, probably no more. you will still have to take finasteride to keep your remaining hair.

this is the knowledge that saved me when nothing else would, i hope it helps someone
