They cannot play the game forever anon. It works until it doesn't. They need to suppress the price to stop the flood into metals. Once the population starts piling into Gold and even more so silver it will cause an epic moon mission. You have to remember the reason for the pump in the stock market is because QE is not going into the pockets of average Joes its being put through the banks and pumped into stocks. Same I would imagine is happening with crypto. Once this ends the flood of capital into Gold and Silver will make BTC look like bubble gum because Gold and Silver have a finite supply. that said there will probably be a collapse of the dollar and a revaluation of silver and gold.

>>24426582
We are against debt based currency. if its represented by paper bux I am ok with it as long as there is no debt or interest and it keeps up with the growth of economic activity. I also understand that silver and gold represent labor very well but what gives them value IS their representation of human labor. the fall back is the finite supply in a growing labor force and you can bet your jimmies you will still have a centralized private bank even with a metallic standard currency because usury will be the enticement for easy money without labor.

>The most hated sort (of wealth getting) and with the greatest reason, is usury, which makes a gain out of money itself and not from the natural object of it. For money was intended to be used in exchange but not to increase at interest. And this term interest [the word tokos, which in Greek also means 'breed' or 'offspring']*, which means the birth of money from money is applied to the breeding of money because the offspring resembles the parent. Wherefore of all modes of getting wealth, this is the most unnatural.

Oh good, because gold isn't a debt based currency.
> if its represented by paper bux I am ok with it
Then you're a cuck who is okay with wageslaving in constantly devalued currency.
>as long as there is no debt or interest
Debt and interest is a necessary part of an economy. Fractional reserve banking is a fraud, but you can have interest and debt without it.
It's the same as loaning someone anything else. If I loan you 10 apples with the agreement you will pay me back 13 apples in a few months, why shouldn't this transaction take place? You expect to make more than 13 apples in a few months so this transaction benefits you.
>and it keeps up with the growth of economic activity
This entire line is a fallacy and I refuted it in the last thread.
We had the industrial revolution on a gold standard. Economic growth is not tied to an increase in the money supply. An increase in the money supply leads to malinvestment and recessions.

>you will still have a centralized private bank
Why?
Free banking had nothing of the sort during the free banking era 1865-1913.

>because usury will be the enticement for easy money without labor.
Usury seems pretty based to me, fren.

Of course lending money is fine but this current system makes basic living impossible without mortgaging your future. This is what the founders (muh founders)?mean when they say we have the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. I cant own my own house. I can't get a job without college loans. I can't get medical care without massive hospital bills I'll never pay off because reasons 1 and 2. I can't afford a family and if I have children I cant afford to feed them right (lest they be hooked on corn syrup, basedbean oil, and hormones in inhumanely raised meat). I agree but also disagree a little. Economic growth is boosted in the current debt-based system, at the cost of currency devaluation and wealth consolidation. It's all a vehicle for consumerism. If we had free markets, asset prices would stay relatively still for the most part and economic growth would be slow. But economic growth by itself isn't necessarily good. We don't need most of the things we produce, and the system has to produce things that break after a few years to keep spending flowing.

Gold was banned from being used as currency, people had to pay their taxes in fiat. Hitler constantly devalued the currency and was trying to depeg it from metals.

Hitler forced fiat central banking on his population.

Ok, apparently we have to explain basic economics every two weeks here.
You cannot eliminate interest from an economy because interest in inherent in human action. Interest is the value of time plus the assessed risk of an action. If we "abolished interest completely" a patch of dirt containing the ore equivalent of $100 iron would be worth exactly $100 of refined iron less all extraction costs. The owner of the patch of dirt would have no reason to extract the ore and sell it to a refiner. His position is not improved. This is an inconceivable proposition. The economy would have no preference between a patch of land with red clay and 1,000 tea pots. All activity would stop.

If no one is guaranteeing banks they can't expand the money supply very far. I don't necessarily support free banking, but I'd trade the fed for it. We're talking about usury though.
Which I am assuming we agree to be (via Merriam): the lending of money with an interest charge for its use.

This is totally different from any discussion of frb, central banking, or hard money

>>24430752
>If you lend them $100 and expect $110 back, then yes the money supply contracts because the money lender put in no physical effort to get that $10 in profit
No because that $10 would have existed whether or not the loan was made (let us assume non bank lending). That $10 does not get destroyed by the lender. You are conflating credit contraction with the payment of interest.

When people pay loans back at the end of a credit expansion (banks lending money they don't have) instead of lending out the "fiduciary media" they got repayed, they destroy it because they start to get worried about their balance sheet. This is a result of unsound fractional reserve banking. It is totally divorced from interest. Even if the loan in this example did not contain interest, the money supply would contract after the loan was repaid.

If I, a "non bank lender" lend someone $1000 to buy a car, with or without interest, the money supply does not change at any point during the life of the loan. Neither my actions, nor the actions of my counterparty had any effect on the supply of money in the economy.

it's a problem of ALL races seeing themselves that way. When everyone gets to claim victim status this won't be a black thing, it'll also be a gay thing and a female thing and a pagan thing and an atheist thing and every other sort of thing. Because blacks aren't inferior, they're just like any person in that regard. If you could get away with it you would too.

But that's wrong. When they found that the relationship between the expansion of money and the effect on its purchasing power varied, mathematical economists introduced a variable factor to ensure the equation describing the money relationship with prices always balanced. This monetary equation is as follows:
>M x V = P x T
>Where M is the money supply, V is the velocity of money, P is the average price level of goods, and T is an index of real value of aggregate transactions.

But by introducing a variable factor V to ensure this equation always balances and thus disqualifies the utility of the equation itself: anything with two unequal sides can be turned into an equation by this artifice. The imagination of the monetarists brushes over this truth by giving the variable a pejorative name. By calling it “velocity of money” it creates an image of the circulation of money. From there it is easy to assume that if money is underused, velocity of circulation drops and the economy is declared to stagnate, and if its velocity of circulation increases, it is said to be because money is demanded and circulates more effectively. Falling velocity is thereby associated with falling prices for which nominal GDP is the proxy (P x T in the equation), and rising velocity is associated with rising prices and rising GDP. This concept is badly flawed, but it explains the fundamental precepts behind current monetary policy; any inflation to the money supply can be argued away by focusing on velocity.

the AT Gold should autoground, right? I hit paydirt by hooking up a bountyhunter 3 inch coil to my 250 and going after every target. The extra wraps made it more sensitive. I can find a needle in a haystack.

but if you're not getting tone set your ground until the headset plays zero and then turn your gain or tone all the way up. Disc at 5, notch at 0. You want medium discrimination, no computer help, and ground set to whatever the black sand in the dirt is.

gain high

I myself use old maps from previous gold rushes to find the best areas to explore for placer gold, but there are many ways you can do it. You do though have to go on the ground and actually look at whats going on below the surface to actually have a real idea. There are tell tail signs of previous water action that are hard to describe in text that can appear in maps and aerial photos. On the ground I look for thinks like rounded river stones and boulders in bedding above the modern river flow, usually the easiest way in my district is to look along logging road cuts for these features than test as I go.
