No, it's not, it's based on the flawed premise that gains aren't compounding and that under performing later in life, like Buffet is somehow negates the earlier over performance gains which are much more meaningful.

TA is just another tool in your arsenal, and to say "it's a total waste of time" is stupid.
On the most basic level, you should think twice about buying a stock that is extremely high above the 200 day SMA, and you should consider buying stocks that are very far below the 200 day SMA. This is 100% looked at by algos / institutions / "real" traders
This does not mean "always buy stocks that are below the 200 day SMA" nor does it mean "never buy stocks above the 200 day SMA" but what it does mean is that it's another tool in your box, so that you're able to make better, more informed decisions, and assign probabilities to future events better

Alzheimers is a degenerative illness, where (up to this point) it only gets worse or halts, never gets better. All other medications that exist either slow it down or halt it - none (so far) reverse it and patients condition improves.

So I've been thinking about how the p/e ratios of some of these meme companies are completely bullshit, and how these new share structures keep popping up where even if you were to own every outstanding share you still wouldn't have any control of the companies you're buying, and it all seems broken mechanically.

In an effort to figure out a way to make the market less stupid I've been pondering the idea of a small mandatory dividend for ALL underlying stocks. This would keep p/e ratios more consistent and less speculative, and actually bring back intrinsic value to shares, where voting power isn't even becoming relevant due to these ridiculous share structures. The government would actually have an incentive to do this because these dividends would be taxable.
