>What is Cardano?
Cardano is a proof-of-stake blockchain platform: the first to be founded on peer-reviewed research and developed through evidence-based methods. It combines pioneering technologies to provide unparalleled security and sustainability to decentralized applications, systems, and societies.

>Why Cardano?
Cardano is a blockchain platform built on the groundbreaking Ouroboros proof-of-stake consensus protocol, and developed using the Haskell programming language: a functional programming language that enables Cardano to pursue evidence-based development, for unparalleled security and stability.

>What is Haskell
Cardano is developed in Haskell. Haskell is a functional programming language used primarily for it’s high assurance value and is favoured by major financial institutions for it’s security. Entirely eliminating the risk of hacks, exploits and human error. Blockchains such as Ethereum are developed in Solidity this is an object-oriented programming language and is mathematically around x1000 more prone to hacks resulting from bugs, exploits and human error.

>Is Haskell highly complex?
Haskell is a very complex programming language. To make decentralised application development available to the masses IOHK have developed Marlowe a tool that allows developers to write applications in Javascript and convert them automatically into Haskell. This in It’s own right is a highly significant accomplishment. Marlowe also allows users without knowledge in Javascript or Haskell to create decentralised applications and native tokens on the Cardano ecosystem with it’s automatic contract generator. You simply select a template and fill in the blanks Marlowe will automatically convert your instructions into a Haskell based smart contract.

>How many times has Ethereum been exploited or hacked.
So many times that people have now lost count. A Conservative figure would be at least 100 times with over $250 Million dollars stolen. All of these hacks, thefts and exploits are a direct consequence of developing in Solidity.
Ethereum 2.0 doesn’t resolve this problem or even address it. Draining liquidity pools and stealing users funds is always going to occur even when you “audit” the contract. Ethereum developers would rather not discuss this topic.

>How vulnerable is Cardano to sybil attack?
When registering a pool, the pool operator can decide to ‘pledge’ some of his personal stake to the pool. Pledging more will slightly increase the potential rewards of his pool.
This means that pools whose operators have pledged a lot of stake will be a little bit more attractive. So, if an attacker wants to create dozens of pools, he will have to split his personal stake into many parts, making all of his many pools less attractive, thereby causing people to delegate to pools run by honest stakeholders instead.
In other words, an attacker who creates a large number of pools will have to spread himself too thinly. He can’t make all of his many pools attractive, because he has to split his stake into too many parts. Honest pool operators will bundle all their personal stake into their one pool, thus having a much better chance of attracting members.

Cardano is 51% byzantine resistant meaning a malicious actor would have to acquire 51% of the total ADA supply to launch an attack. In comparison Ethereum 2.0 is only 25.1% byzantine resistant.

>When are smart contacts coming to Cardano?
Smart contracts are going live in the first week of March 2021. IOHK have also developed an ERC-20 converter meaning projects wanting to leave the Ethereum ecosystem can simply do so with ease through the use of an automatic contract converter that will port their decentralised application over to the Cardano ecosystem.

Very soon? The best smart contract language(s) the world has seen.
Later still? The most scalable blockchain, with Hydra.

A short list from 2016 to 2018. Read somewhere that Ethereum has on average 100 bugs per 1000 lines of code. Microsoft has 15 per 1000. NASA has 0 per 500 000 in shuttles and space station. I wonder where Cardano falls, from it's heavy use of formal verification.

What do you mean? Over saturation happens at 128M right now. On Dec 6 it will be 64M when K goes to 500. March 2021 it will be 32M when K goes to 1000.
4CHAN will make a lot of blocks. It's just that the whale will get most of the rewards, proportionate to stake.
