anon you can get a nice herman miller off of facebook market. less than half the price and these things are indestructible so really unlikely to get a bad quality one. You can also check out some videos for tips on how to shop around for used ones. Got mine for $200 aeron and its the nicest damn chair I've ever had. Ended up getting my girl one too.

To answer your question though when I make it I'm getting a herman miller embody. Those things are gorgeous.

it's unhandy in front of a desk and you will use it much less than you originally thought. also, a chair under $500 is not a quality product and the really good ones start at $1000.
