You have to have an initial deposit that varies with each court. The more complex the court system, the more you stake. The lowest, least complicated court is like 500 PNK. The initial stake is to join the court, then for each case you stake a portion of that. So one of the less complicated courts is like 45 PNK per case. Cool, I'm planning to dump about $10k into PNK this month, so it should be pretty easy to get started. I remember seeing something about jpn-eng translations on their site before but I can't see it now or under Linguo, which I was pretty excited about, but maybe I'm looking in the wrong thing.

In a couple years, once I'm done with my current contract, I'd love to work as a consultant helping companies shift their dispute resolution systems entirely to kleros. -forum for jurors to discuss cases, ideally where precedent for cases can start to be determined and solidified so that we can get more coherent decisions for all jurors (and for plaintiffs/defendants to refer to so they can make their cases better)
-geolocking of jurors for cases (ie, the ability to ensure that all participants in a case are citizens of the same polity. eg, for a case involving a california business, the ability to ensure the proceedings of the kleros court conform to state regulations on ADR/arbitration so that the results of kleros court will hold up in california state court)

Pick a court and stake, blockchain non-technical is prob the best one for the average guy. Keep in mind the chances of getting a case varies with how much pnk you have. Unlike LINK, where you still can't stake your tokens to make money, PNK can be used right now to make money by acting as a juror on cases. It also inherently solves the problem LINK was trying to automate away with trusted data sources by instead just offering dispute resolution on contracts no matter what the dispute is. Lately I've been more bullish on PNK long term than LINK.

If you've been sleeping, it's time to do your research. I wouldn't treat this like BTC (just buy and hodl for guaranteed gains), I would recommend you buy some PNK and then try being a juror on some cases to see if you like it.

That's my strategy. But I wouldn't be "buying a stack" of PNK to "make it", I'd be buying enough that you can reliably get selected for cases and then just try to do a good job so that you can accumulate more PNK/fees on the platform itself, then dump that into your BTC and LINK holdings. The risk to PNK is that the platform never becomes popular, so then there's no reason to hold PNK because there's no need for jurors. The upside potential is large companies and governments incorporating kleros into their processes guaranteeing large numbers of cases for the platform, making juror work more valuable and better paid.
