Could happen but it would mean all of crypto dumping the same amount or more. Fair market value on a single LINK token based on money secured is around $9 right now, so the money that’s secured (which is mostly in crypto) would have to be worth less for it to go below that, which means all that crypto would have to dump in value. As long as the crypto market goes up and defi value secured goes up, LINK goes up. What’s more is, the more that bend the knee (e.g. compound within the next month or two), the greater LINK’s value will be as compared to the market. The tokenomics are incredible, that’s the main thing that drew me to buying LINK in 2017. It’s the only crypto in the entire space that is literally a bet on “will crypto go mainstream or not”
