does anyone else here wanna murder their parents for being poor?

i dont get how its this fucking hard to be rich when youre 50+. if you just put 1000 dollars in berkshire hathaway when it first started youd have over 1 million dollars now.

my dad spends all his money on cigarettes. stil wont do anything different. my dad spends fucking $15 a day on fucking cigarettes but cheaps out on heat, lives in a broken down shit house, doesnt buy anything useful or invest. literally you could of just fucking got microsoft here and there apple here and there random shit put some money in etfs youd be fucking rich. literally even like 100 dollars a month or some shit and just forget about it.

how the fuck is it hard to be rich. how the fuck was it hard to bet on warren buffett with 1000 dollars. how the fuck do you chose to be fair? how the fuck do you take the high high risk of dying miserable in some broken down shit hole house with no happy memories. how the fuck do you pick cigarettes and booze and stupid shit over this? my dads only done shitty depressing wagie jobs but he could of retired with fucking millions or 6 figures just throwing a random thousand dollars at stocks and shit here and there. not even a lot just a couple times a year. literally zero work. barely any money.

Boomers had it so fucking easy to get rich, any stock they bought could have made them a fortune. Now we're stuck gambling on cryptos to run it up.

My parents are rich but don't give me anything. I graduated college in 2017 and couldn't find a job and was legit homeless and even then my parents wouldnt even give me a loan to make rent for a couple months. I went all in on shitcoins and that saved me

This reminds me, China is fucking huge on tobacco. I should invest in tobacco, I hear it's over 50% of Malawi's entire economy so that it can export to China.
Oh, and sorry about being born into poverty or whatever.

I can relate OP. Literally had to help my parents pick soggy pain pills out of the disgusting carpet caused by the dog my dad bought (no job for over a year now. Smokes a fuck ton, and can hardly use a computer). The fucking retard has no idea how much money is coming and going each month and acts like a fucking child and always hurts himself when he tries to do things around the house. I could go on but what’s the point. Thanks for reading my blog post

Ah yeah, retard boomers that can't use a simple GUI on a fucking computer not because they are brain dead, but because they "didn't grow up with it". I can guarantee you that even at 80 years old if I'm alive I will be able to use perfectly well the new technology.

My parents are wealthy and my dad is a LINK marine, honestly it's great. Ignore the other anons here saying "stop being a bitch" or something along those lines. My parents came to Canada from Poland with 10 grand combined and 2 suitcases in their 20s from communist shithole to give me a good life. Now they are millionaires and I'm younger than they were and far richer than they were as well. They did everything to set me up to win, and they had nothing going for them, so when I see parents that failed their kids it really just makes me want to spit on them. If my parents could do it how couldn't you, I mean for fucks sake. Anger is an appropriate reaction to injustice, people who bring kids into this world with no intention of setting them up for a good life are irresponsible fuckwits and their kids are right to be pissed.

When your living paycheck to paycheck your life usually sucks but if you also have a piece of shit ungrateful son or a few kids and a wife you dislike that most likely hates you back the best you can hope for is a few minutes of "happiness" a day which is most likely when he gets off work and starts drinking and when he's drank enough to forget. Don't judge your dad to harshly especially if he kept you fed, clothed and sheltered because that's more then alot more then alot of fathers do for their children. Also if you're over 20 years old you can't blame him for anything anymore and remember most likely this man won't live to see retirement so why should he have ever thought of the future?

stock market returns were generally very small and the general opinion was there more chance you would just loose your ass until these insane bull runs in the last decade, that plus it was kind of difficult to just get set up to buy stocks you had to go a big office in the city speak to scammy looking people in suits and sign over all your money to them.

My dad is very similar. He works here and there but not enough to pay the mortgage. That's all my stepmom. Without her, he'd probably be in a studio apartment or living with me.

I heard a story from a cousin that he once gave my dad 15K to trade back in very early 2000's, and he blew the account. If he just put it in Apple, Microsoft, Google, and let it ride, he would have been a millionaire.

He's a good guy at heart, but a lot of times didn't realize his constant pressure to be perfect fucked up my self esteem, whereas he himself didn't amount to much. I slept on a piece of foam in a studio apartment most of my life.

Sorry for the blogpost, but I feel your pain OP. We must not make the mistakes our father's did. We need to continue to invest every month no matter what so we make it.

Idk I think my parents are well-intentioned but they really did just have it so much easier that they dont understand how bad things are. When dad says he bought a brand new truck for 10k and had a nice house built on 3 acres for 60k, I can't help but feel envious. And ever since these retards have been spending their 100k+ annual income to the MAX with no savings and a mountain of debt. Dad always told me when I was a kid with 3000 dollars that I hoarded every christmas "one day ya gotta invest son" yet he never even taught me how or thought that I should maybe invest that money just sitting there NOW??? I'd be rich if I had bought amazon or apple stock

>> No.24400649

Honestly, its not too hard being rich at 13 either, you just gotta connect with the right people, have a suitable mindset and have access to information. You can't blame your dad for being raised the way he was. Just watch him and learn not to do the things he does, duh.
