I sold my ETH this morning, expecting a dip by this evening. It has gone from 551 to 583. I want to buy and hold now, as I realize I messed up. Should I wait for it to drop a bit? If so, what's a good benchmark of when to buy back in so I don't lose too much of what I made?

Don't have a system. Just have some cash on the sidelines and everytime it dips you buy. Just that easy. over the next 4 years you win.

Probably bait but whatever
OP you need to decide if youre trading or investing.
If you are trading then go with a plan of attack. Plan your entries and exits, and remember - every market is cyclical.
If you are investing then don't fucking touch it. Just buy and hold, simple as.
