Yow can quicksave pictures from your browser into the software.
And then if you want to upload a picture you just drag and drop from eagle onto the "Browse" button

I don't know if there is a way to tie it directly into file explorer though.

I don't want to shill but I've really like using eagle so far.
I've heard Hydrus wasn't stable when you have large collections of images so I've steered clear of it.

I've mostly got reaction images, wallpaper, & sound effects in my library. It's mostly so I can quickly grab files to toss in premiere for editing.

I really like using it to keyword sound effects though.
