It's most likely a combination of several things. My family, the few friends that I have, mindless entertainment, creature comforts that make life bearable, the sheer habit of just keep on keeping on. Yeah shit is already pretty crazy in Sweden due to the immigration. Its a real shame that the crime stats and silly statements are the only stuff that your average /pol/-tard knows because the real redpill about Sweden is that most of the local governments were even before the current economic situation going into debt to pay for running services like schools, welfare, healthcare, etc. and were cutting on these things as well. All primarily thanks to the costs related to immigration such as translators, housing, more kids in schools and all of that. The current plan to rescue the local governments from becoming involvent is by forgiving the debts they have towards the national government on the condition that the local governments basically unify into larger systems. However that is really just a short term solution and most local governments are basically slated to be insolvent within the decade with no way out if things carry on as they are.

Today its become fairly common to see the media bring up ideas like "why should someone who isn't even a citizen have right to X?" and its not considered some horrible nazi-tier statement like ti was 10 years ago. But the current pandemic of course serves as an excellent reason to halt immigration and it'll probably be permanent even after the pandemic is over because consensus will have shifted during this year.

BUt even then it won't actually change the fact that local governments are heading towards insolvency in a few years unless they basically find a way to stop having immigrants costing them money. If they don't, almost every government service that isn't on the national level is going bye-bye and shit is genuinely going to be fucked.

Also since nuclear power plants are shutting down its expected that brown outs start happening as the demand for power outstrips supply. That means that in the middle of peak use, i.e. during fucking WINTER, the power can just randomly shut off and not come back for several hours. The worst hit will be the southern part, i.e. the part where most people live.

The country is genuinely completely fucked and headed towards a a state of literal undevelopment.
