I just got my first credit card in the mail today. Should I pay it off incrementally or all at once? I’m trying to build my credit score

I really only use my credit cards for small purchases and pay them off every billing cycle. Just don’t be stupid and max them out and pay only minimum payments and you’ll be fine.

Real answer? Barely use it. Only buy what you can pay off. Leave like 1-9% balance on it, better for your score than paying it all off, weird I know

Pay off all at once but the (((bankers))) primarily look to see credit utilization < 30% and obviously no late payments. Also never buy anything online with a debit card. Only credit. Because if you get your information stolen and used to buy something you can get it refunded with credit card but not with debit card. A few weeks ago someone bought a $1000 phone with my information and I just called the bank and they cancelled the purchase and sent me a new card.
