Actually had this conversation. Except a lot of my family bought in. I turned an 11k profit and my dad was convinced by the results and decided buy in at the top. Grilled him for being dismissive of it despite seeing results and asked to have his money back. I told him I'd see him at 150k and dared him to take his investment out. Spoilers: he didn't.

No. Not my portfolio performance, my pride is more tied to my family's belief in me. I'm holding strong and I'm still at a 500% profit despite the dump. Yeah. He's worked hard his whole life and nearing 60. His body is visibly breaking down and I can't do anything about it but try to help financially. Corona fucked his position of 10 years and his unemployment runs out soon. I'm trying to be the most autistic, meticulous sperg that I can to help us all out financially, but I'm not sure I'll make it in time.
