The wallet news is so fucking bullish for link.
It is a conformation that blockchain as a technology is very appealing to the elite old guard but only if it is properly regulated and not a wild West.
Link as a service is not affected by the wallet lock and will in fact be used to verify all crypto transactions from now on.
Think about needing oracles to verify every wallet transaction across all block chains. Bullish as fuck!

Kyc for all private wallets and no releasing of funds until the receiving wallet has been verified by the sending wallet.
Perfect job for link.
Without oracles this verification could take 10 days but with oracles it could be instantaneous

How would this be enforced? What's stopping people from moving to p2p exchanges? I mean if they go all out on regulating crypto it would be on hand be bad for crypto as a whole, but will pave the way towards real adoption. Does this regulation only apply to USA?

You raise a very good concern. There's nothing stopping hackers from building and install chip skimmers, like they already do with ATMs.
