I think most people are pretty depressed that Schiff was wrong on bitcoin. When gold dumps and btc is breaking ath it's pretty annoying to see a board full of exuberant cryptards

They will have their day in the sun. Remember this board when silver flew to $27?

That's literally the biggest sell signal ever, anyone holding BTC is not as smart as they think they are.

Selling BTC at ATH, historically, has been a terrible terrible decision. Every ATH broken has resulted in at least a 10x rally. People are far less willing to sell at a loss now, it isn't 2017 anymore.

>>24248678
Yeah. It's a bit shit. I want to go heavier on gold and gold stocks though so it isn't all bad.

These boomer rockers don't understand that Gold and Silver are mostly for MAINTAINING wealth. It's a form of diversification. If your net worth is under $10m, then there's absolutely no point buying boomer rocks. You are literally betting on the collapse of a big civilization in order for your gold to even go 10x.

I don't understand this argument. Precious metals have essentially the same pros and cons whether your net worth is $1,000 or $100,000. You're right that diversification is a good idea, but again, this is true for the little guy as well. In fact, it's almost more important for those without much assets to diversify, as insurance in the event of something unforeseen happening.

>silver
>maintaining wealth
silver degrades over time and therefore does not maintain wealth. It is a speculative asset which follows gold. Basically nature's leveraged bet on gold.
