I was going to do a trading analysis of AMPL today (spoiler, it's been in accumulation for 3+ weeks), but this will have to wait until tomorrow, as today, just a few hours ago AMPL launched incentives for the Balancer “smart pool” USDC-AMPL pairing.

Yesterday they added SushiSwap; 200k ampl incentives to LPs. Today Balancer with 975k - YES $1.27MILLION. This is even without tomorrow’s launch of Uniswap incentives on top.

Some perspective, AMPL ran so hard in July because they added ONLY 70k ampl… Now we have 18x the amount!!! (and yes it will also rebase, and it's JUST been a 1.99% positive rebase, and the amount of ampl available did just grow from 975k to 994k today alone - you can count on 2%++ increases daily due to the rebase and the incredible APY this will bring, which will increase the ampl price, which will raise the rebase, which will increase the AMPL incentives available to LPers… repeat… to infinity.

Guaranteed to see a 10x here, and I know thats a garbage 4chan statement made against all sorts of shit, but I’m for real here.

What is Balancer “SMART pool”? - This is IMPORTANT

The smart pool is a 50-50 pairing with AMPL-USDC. However it is “smart” because at the time of rebase it oracle calls the rebase to the pool and the pool changes weights, so already after this rebase it changed from 51.75% AMPL - 48.25% USDC to 52.25% AMPL - 47.75% USDC

The important part to realise is that in Uniswap where the pair is AMPL-ETH 50-50, if the rebase is say 2% positive then the Uniswap pool MUST stay weighted 50-50, so it sells half of your rebase off into ETH (actually happening by arbitrage bots just seconds after rebase each day) so you kinda “lose” half of your rebase.. Not lose exactly, you take profit into ETH - But, you don't really want to do this, at least not too early, you want to stack those AMPLs and compound them for 10-20-30-+++ days of 2-10% or more positive rebases.

Compound interest is a hell of a drug.

let others do that, they might earn a little more, but they will just pull your AMPL investment up along with them.

add liquidity to the pool you are interested in. you will get pool LP tokens that represent your share of the pool when you do this. then stake the lp tokens on the geyser website to start earning rewards

Worth noting. When I made this post 1 hour ago to now there is now $4+ million in the Balancer smart pool. These whales know.
The apy is balanced down now but a pretty healthy 170%, and it will oscillate around here up and down as the price of AMPL increases and with each rebase, and as it goes over 200-300% then it again becomes worth it for whales to buy up $200k extra bags and put them in lol. Each cycle compounds the rest: Ampl price > rebase > rewards in geyser grow > tvl in pools grows > ample price grows > > >

Or if you really just like RISK then instead of buying the USDC you could just buy double the amount of AMPL.
