Bid mid and Ask are what that specific contract is going for right now (Ask) and what people are willing to pay for it(Bid).

In your case this is
26/11/20 $26 dollar strike price call option. It is going for 0.525 per contract (x100) = $52.5 for one contract.
This will expire in 3 days and for it to be "In the Money" i.e. worth selling, PLTR needs to hit 26 very soon otherwise this contract will likely expire worthless.

The value of a contract comes from its extrinsic value i.e. how many hyped up faggots think its likely this contract will be worth gold. Even the most hyped up PLTR fanboys will say $26 by 27/11/20 is ballsy.

The strategies and goals are much different for "long dated" options (typically 3+ months out) than for shorted dated. This is related to the extrinsic (time) value decay of the contract. It is generally easier to make money writing than buying calls for short dated options. So called "theta gang". But its also like picking up pennies in front of a train. Long term options can trade on swings that respond much more to the price of the underlying.

Lets say bought 1x $26c expiring 01/01/21.
It moons to $30 early december.
Your contract would automatically be worth $4 more (Market - strike).
Lets say it had lots of traction and was expected to trade much higher end of month. Premiums for that contract would be a lot higher because:
1. Hype
2. The contract is already "Deep in the money"

It wouldn't be unreasonable to add $10 to that premium.
Lets say you sell your contract for $14
14 x 100 = $1400
You do have to offset what you originally paid for the contract tho, and remember if something is more likely to happen, the heftier the initial premium.
