Completely speculative. It's just coincidence that Bitcoin goes up and XRP sees this run up? Dream on. This is what happened:
>"Oh look Bitcoin is going up, let's buy some."
>"18 thousand! I can't afford that, XRP? That's only 30 cents I can buy a bunch of those."

Then Ripple releases another "partnership" with a bank. They had to release something to protect the price action. How many partnerships with banks have they already accumulated? 100? I've been here for a while, some new banking or institutional partnership didn't even flinch XRP's price. Simply because investors have become jaded over the years. Nothing has changed. Same as Link. Although I will say you'll have a higher support line, for a while. But over the years investors become jaded again. You need fundamentals badly.

All that being said I have a small stack I'm playing as a side bet long shot in case it sees use as the interledger. But don't become a schizo, you can't really know what's really happening behind the scenes so it's not worth it.
