Do scammers have a point when they rugpull early or they're just genuine idiots?

I'm thinking a patient scammer is better rewarded and there are no risks otherwise all those anonymous team which rug pulled after weeks and months like Brrr and Bree would had been caught by now. Or those anonymous team which dump when the token first pumps within the first hour and then pretend it was the bots.
